SSL World Cup. 1. Nations. Format. The 2015 SSLWC will be held in June/July, each club will be randomly allocated a nation. All teams will play in the same pool of 32. 3 qualifying games will be played and the top 16 will go into the KO stage, position in the table will also determine a nations seeding. In the event of 2 teams having the same points and goals after the 3 qualifying games the tie will be broken by the roster totals; 1 Most Shots 2 Least DP's 3 Most key passes 4 Most key tackles KO stage 1 v 16 8 v 9 - 4 v 13 5 v 12 -- 2 v 15 7 v 10 - 3 v 14 6 v 11 Winners from each pairing will meet in QF. Winners from each half will meet in SF. ### 3. National rosters. No squads will be picked, all players will be available to play for their nation. As some esms programs will not work with rosters of 50+ so some lower skill players may be omitted. I will provide national at least a week before the opening games, they will remain at eos levels [see rule 5]. The skill cap in world cup games will be 25, the same as in league games. ### 4. Injuries, suspensions & ability points All roster stats will be reset to 0 for the start of the WC. No abilty points will be awarded in WC games [see rule 5] Once the WC starts injuries will be reduced after each MATCH and not each Saturday as in league games. DP's in the WC will be 5 yellow 10 red with the suspension margin set at 10, so 2 yellows or a red mean a suspension. ### 5. Ability points awarded to club managers. All manager taking part in the WC have the chance to earn ability points to use on their club rosters. The "Prizes" are; MANAGING A TEAM = 300 + POINTS WON IN GROUP 1-2 = 100 3-4 = 200 5-6 = 300 7-9 = 400 + KO STAGE WINNERS 500 RUNNERS UP 400 3RD PLACE 300 4TH PLACE 200 QF LOSERS 100 MINUS THESE PENALTIES:- MISSING SHEET = -200 SHEET ERROR = -100 SO A TEAM WINNING ALL THEIR GROUP GAMES AND GOING ON TO WIN THE WC WILL HAVE 1200 POINTS TO ALLOCATE. The maximum number of ability points that can be added to any club players ability column is 500. The same player can have points added to more than 1 skill. Ab's must be added in blocks of 100. ### 6. Formations. Formations allowed are the same as in SSL club matches. Min_DF = 3 > doesn't include DM Max_DF = 5 > doesn't include DM Max_DM = 3 Min_MF = 2 > DM & AM are counted in this total Max_MF = 6 > DM & AM are counted in this total Max_AM = 3 Min_FW = 1 > doesn't include AM Max_FW = 4 > doesn't include AM ### 7. Missing sheets & errors. Any errors will be fixed, the first time any manager has an error it will be free, but for a 2nd or subsequent error of any kind the manager will lose 100 of any ability point awards. A T sheet will be given for missing sheets only and the manager will lose 200 of any ability point awards. In the group stage the team with the T sheet will lose any points won, in the KO stage they will lose the match 3-0. ### 8. Ability point prizes. At the end of the World Cup the top player in each of the 7 categories below will have 100 ability points added to their club roster. SAVES [St] TACKLES [Tk], ASSISTS & PASSES [Ps], SCORERS & SHOTS [Sh], PERFORMERS [main]. The final leaders.txt of the competition will decide the winners. No player can earn more than 100 ab’s, e.g. if the same player is top of shots & scorers he only gets 100 Sh, no 2nd place prizes. If 2 or more players have the same total the player with least minutes played wins the prize, if they’ve played the same amount it’s shared.
